TRAEYC is a local affiliate of the Tennessee Association for the Education of Young Children, (TAEYC), whose members come from diverse occupations, interests and backgrounds who have a passion for helping young children. TRAEYC represents seven Tennessee Counties: Benton, Dickson, Henry, Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery and Stewart.
Our Vision
TRAEYC seeks to empower children and adults to achieve their full potential in the field of early childhood by learning and teaching developmentally appropriate practices.

TRAEYC values the uniqueness of each child, family member and colleague in context with the communty(ies) in which each interacts and indentifies to him/herself.
Our Mission
To serve and act on behalf of the needs, rights and well-being of young children and their families with primary focus on the provision of educational/developmental services and resources.
